About “Secrets of the Unseen”
“Secrets of the Unseen” took place at Fountain Street Gallery and featured a version of Rodriguez’s “Legends Breathe” project. It included a site-responsive child’s fort-like structure that ecompassed the viewer and utilized both front and rear projection. The tent was designed for Legends Breathe: In My Own Backyard and Legends Breathe: Fairy Tales. The show also included a series of video sculptures, handmade wooden keepsake boxes or treasure chests, that held videos within them as precious objects. “Legends Breathe” is an ongoing project that explores the power of creativity and the imagination in overcoming traumatic experiences – please visit the project page for additional conceptual background.
